Ride On Roller Novice 3 day course

The NPORS 3-Day Novice Road Roller Course is designed for individuals with little or no experience operating a road roller. Over three days, candidates will learn the essential skills needed to operate the machine safely and effectively in a construction environment. The course covers health and safety regulations, machine controls, safe working practices, and practical hands-on training.

At the end of the course, candidates will complete both a theory and practical assessment. Successful candidates will receive the recognised NPORS Operator Card, proving their competence to work on site.

    The course covers key operational techniques, safety procedures, pre-use checks, and practical operation, ensuring candidates meet industry standards and are fully prepared for their NPORS assessment.

    Who Should Attend:
    This course is suitable for complete beginners and novice operators who need to learn how to operate a road roller safely and in compliance with health and safety regulations.

    Course Duration:

  2. 3 Days (including theory, practical training, and NPORS assessment)

Candidates must be at least 16 years old. Good understanding of spoken and written English. No prior experience required – this course is designed for novices.

Assessment:
Candidates will complete both a practical assessment and a theory test to demonstrate their understanding and competence. Successful candidates will receive an NPORS Operator Card.

Certification:
On successful completion, candidates will be awarded:

NPORS Operator Card – Road Roller (N214)
This can be issued as either a Traditional NPORS Card or an NPORS CSCS Operator Card, depending on the candidate’s requirements.
